Youth Project Planning Team Meeting

It’s Time to Roll up Our Sleeves and Start Building and Reaching the Youth of Cocke County!!

The Opportunity:

We are inviting pastors, youth leaders, parents and Christian youth to join us in developing a new ministry and youth center designed to reach and intervene in the lives of young people in our region who may otherwise end up on the wrong path.

At the same time, we also intend for the youth center to be a support and blessing to smaller congregations in our county who may not have enough youth yet to host their own events by offering Christian youth gatherings that serves both the unchurched and churched young people.

A Vision and a Pathway:

We envision a Youth Center and Youth Project that meets both challenges. Our plan is to start on a lean budget with the partnership of 12-15+ different churches who grab the vision and want to help us build this ministry. As churches work together in this mission and as their people are involved in all the events from day one… we believe that the youth of Cocke County will find their way into these local churches through godly mentor relationships.

Join pastors, ministry leaders, young people, volunteers, and the Empower team as we come together to discuss how to reach and minister to the youth of Cocke County, including those outside of the current Church experience.
